Refund Policy

1. Overview

Trivia Book Generator is a digital software-as-a-service (SaaS) product. Because access to AI generation, exports, and project storage is delivered instantly upon payment, all fees are generally non-refundable. This page explains the limited cases in which we issue refunds and how cancellations work.

2. Free tier

You can try the product for free. The free tier allows one trivia book project with CSV import and watermarked exports — no payment or refund is involved. We encourage you to evaluate the product on the free tier before upgrading to Pro.

3. Monthly Pro subscriptions

Monthly Pro charges are non-refundable. You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time from the Billing page. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you retain Pro access through the end of the billing period you have already paid for.

4. Annual Pro subscriptions

Annual Pro plans are billed upfront for 12 months at a discounted rate. If you cancel during the 12-month term, we do not issue a partial or pro-rated refund. Instead, your subscription remains active and you keep full Pro access until the end of the paid annual term, and we will not renew your plan for the following year.

This policy reflects the discount already applied to annual pricing compared to monthly billing.

5. Duplicate, accidental, or fraudulent charges

If you were charged twice for the same subscription period, charged after a confirmed cancellation, or believe a charge on your account is fraudulent, contact us within 30 days of the charge and we will investigate and refund any erroneous amount.

6. Service outages

If a prolonged service outage materially prevents you from using paid features for an extended period, contact us and we will consider a credit or partial refund on a case-by-case basis.

7. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence (for example, mandatory cooling-off rights in parts of the EU/UK). Where such rights apply and have not been waived, they take precedence over the policy above.

8. How to cancel or request a refund

You can cancel anytime from the Billing & plan page, which opens the secure billing portal. For refund requests that fall within the cases above, please reach out via the Contact page and include your account email and the date of the charge.
